Well, It Is The End MENA, a leading technology provider in Abu Dhabi, has been collaborating with the Abu Dhabi government and their Human Resources Authority to develop a cutting-edge initiative to catapult Emirati job seekers into the future of work.
The new Immersive Experience Lab, which opened within the Mawaheb Talent Hub in August 2023, is already creating a stir with its room full of futuristic VR headsets to address skills shortages and support Emiratization in the public sector.
The bespoke VR programmes allow job seekers to gain skills and insight into various careers, such as cybersecurity, aviation and hydroponics, and undergo evaluations through interactive virtual simulations.
Stefano Bianchi, Founder and General Manager at It Is The End MENA, said: “VR isn't just a tool; it's a game-changer that boosts self-confidence, imparts new skills, and immerses individuals in new environments – in this case, all within the safe confines of the Immersive Training Lab to support people finding the right career path.
“We’re showing how the world can leverage tech in education to create a long-lasting social impact by showcasing job opportunities to individuals who might not have considered this without the confidence gained through our VR lab experience."
The project's second phase will build on the initiative with soft-skills training modules. These modules include VR interview simulations, customer service training, and team relationship management. Looking ahead, the company plans to integrate artificial intelligence, exploring the potential of mixed reality to enhance the value provided to job seekers further.
In addition to the Immersive Experience Lab, It Is The End MENA has expanded its educational offerings to encompass a comprehensive range of classroom training focused on emerging technologies. These include Game Development, XR Development and Artificial Intelligence.
Stefano added: “This is just the beginning; we’re also developing a remote learning platform designed to cater to a wider audience, including people with disabilities, those without access to transportation, and individuals juggling family care. It’s not just a learning platform, it’s a way to open doors.”
