Using modular architecture instead of a monolithic approach in Laravel web application design offers better scalability, maintainability, and flexibility. In a monolithic structure, all components—controllers, models, and views—are tightly coupled within a single codebase, making it harder to manage and scale as the application grows.
Conversely, modular architecture organizes the application into independent modules, each handling a specific feature or functionality, such as , order management, or inventory in an office furniture system.
This separation allows for easier debugging, parallel development, and reusability across different projects. Additionally, updates or modifications to one module can be made without affecting the entire system, reducing deployment risks and improving maintainability in large-scale applications.
