Dust wrecks more drone gear than crashes ever will. But not the O4 Ground Station.

DJI ran it nonstop through a dust chamber for 8 hours to test for IP6X, the highest dust rating you can get. The result: fully sealed, nothing inside, still running.

Dust is what quietly finishes off field gear. It works into vents and connectors until something packs up, usually when you least want it to. This just keeps going.

It did ✨
 
It’s IPX7 rated and held a stable signal the whole time, and that toughness is the whole point. If you’re patrolling power lines in the rain ⚡, this thing won’t quit on you.

Icefall in the Himalayas or shifting dunes in Abu Dhabi, the hardest ground to survey is the ground a team has to cross on foot to measure it. The terrain changes, but the risk doesn’t.
 
In the video, watch how the DJI M4E mapped 3 km² of the Khumbu Icefall from the air in 3.5 hours. Processed through DJI Terra, that data became a detailed 3D model the team could use to plan routes faster, and with far less time spent on the ice.
 
The same approach works wherever the ground is too unstable, too vast or too dangerous to walk, from glaciers to the deserts on our doorstep. Safer surveys start with getting people off the terrain. 🌐
