Our goal was to create a visual style that genuinely reflects the uniqueness of the product. We took a deep dive into the computational design method. All the models are created with Grasshopper, a node based parametric modeling tool. The pattern of intertwined nodes became the main inspiration for the design.

Stl (short for «stereolithography») is a 3D model format that is used for 3D printing. The accessories created by STL.Lab are inspired by bionic forms, parametrically designed and manufactured using 3D printing technology. The brand’s creator is a certified architect. The core element of the identity for Theatre of Digital Art Dubaiis a 3D ball which symbolizes a heart. The ball changes shape, colour and texture depending on the pulse and emotions that people get from being in TODA. If it is yoga, then the pulse is calm — the ball turns slowly, it is half transparent. On the contrary, if it’s an electronic music concert, then the pulse is rapid — the ball is strongly deformed, it becomes sharp and edgy.
