You can now zoom into the Instagram pictures, well only if you are an iPhone user as it is only available on the iOS for now. Is it even a reliable news? Yes, it comes directly from the tweet of the official Instagram twitter page.

As twisted as it sounds. The tweet clearly showed the working of the new Instagram zoom feature. This newly launched feature is slowly being rolled out to the iOS users. Pitching gesture of the device is used to zoom in to the image, the image, however, will flip to its original size. So, just open your Instagram and pinch the picture you wish to zoom into. Zoom will be made available to the Android users in the coming weeks, according to yet another official social post by Instagram. Only images can support the zoom function and not the videos. But unlike Facebook the Instagram zoom in function is soon said to support the videos too. Now that Instagram has a limit of 1080px on pictures, zooming of these pictures can lead to breaking down of the images. The feature is not fully functional now as zooming of the poor quality pics makes them cryptic. Also, the users have to keep holding to the screen that can be tedious. To sum it up the Instagram zoom function has a lot of scope for improvement.

Holding on to the screen can accidentally lead to liking or un liking of a picture because of which the users have already begun to hesitate about using it.
