Granteq is happy to have supported Ajay N in his successful world record attempt for the longest non-stop backward running awareness campaign for a drug-free society.

Ajay completed the challenge on 05 July 2026, running backward for 10 hours as part of an awareness campaign with a strong social message.

This achievement has been officially recognised by Kalam’s World Records, and we are proud to have played a small part in encouraging his effort, discipline and determination.

Jatin Nitin Vasudeo, Project Engineer at Granteq, was recently featured in Inavate EMEA , one of the leading publications covering technology, projects and expert perspectives across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as part of its expert panel on “Real World AV over IP.”

As the only voice from the systems integrator side on the expert panel, Jatin brought a practical, on-the-ground perspective to the discussion, highlighting what really matters when AV over IP moves from design to deployment.

His comments highlight an important reality: while AV over IP technology has matured, successful implementation depends on much more than the core hardware. It requires early coordination between , IT infrastructure, network readiness, switch configuration, security policies and project management.

As Jatin says in the article, “You cannot take a one-shoe-fits-all approach to AV over IP.”
