What are DWDM Mux and Demux?
Now to save fiber and use the least fiber to transmit the most data singal, people would like to choose DWDM Mux/Demux.

So what are DWDM Mux and Demux?

Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing Multiplexer/Demultiplexer (DWDM Mux/Demux) are to increase more than one optical channel technology the transmission capacity into a single fiber.
This is the one used in the existing fiber optic backbone network bandwidth laser technology. More specifically, the technology is close spectral spacing in a specified fiber; multiplexing and a single optical carrier, in order to take advantage of the transmission performance can be achieved. In this way, given the information transmission capacity, it can reduce the total number of fiber needed.

These channels are used in the optical Mux together, and then through a single optical fiber transmission to the hub or OTN, where re-use Demux to separate them. These separate channels can be routed to a single node or node group to meet the orientation of service requirements of the system. DWDM Mux and Demux provide high-density low-cost solution in this application.
