Continuing our 10-year journey series, we’re looking back at the early days of AOByte — the period that shaped our mindset, culture, and way of building.
Here are some of the insights that defined our foundation ⬇️
✨ Patience and Time
It will take patience and time. We are used to underestimating everything - delivery, hiring, onboarding, building trust, scaling, and recovery after mistakes. Not because we were careless, but because we were optimistic. Time is a hidden dependency in every plan. Most outcomes we are proud of took longer than expected, and they were worth it.
✨ It is always about people
We love technology, that is why we are here. But technology is only as great as how people think, align, and execute. A strong team turns complexity into clarity. They make smart decisions and good trade-offs. They execute, test, refactor, and keep promises. You can choose any stack you want, but it is always the people who turn it into a real product. No framework can replace the joy of brainstorming, debating, finding solutions, fixing problems, and navigating change together as a team.
✨ Change
Change will happen whether you want it or not. The environment changes. Expectations change. Tools change. The only real decision is whether you treat change as a threat or as an opportunity.
✨ Consistency is the key
Anyone can have a great week. A great month, even. The hard part is being great when it is not easy, when it is not viral, when the market is uncertain.
✨ Trust
Nothing works without trust. No process, no contract, no Jira workflow, and no management layer can compensate for the absence of trust.
📌 Looking back, these lessons shaped not only how we build products, but how we build teams and long-term partnerships. A decade later, they still guide our decisions every day.
