One cable. Power and network. That's PoE+.
Power over Ethernet Plus lets compatible devices receive power and network connectivity through a single Ethernet cable. Standard PoE supplies up to 15.4 W per port; PoE+ pushes that ceiling to 30 W, supporting devices with higher power needs.
For AV and collaboration installations, that can mean:
♦️ Fewer cables and power supplies
♦️ Cleaner installations
♦️ More flexibility when positioning devices
♦️ Simpler deployment and maintenance
♦️ Centralised power management through the network
PoE+ is not only about reducing cable clutter. It supports a more structured, scalable, and IT-aligned approach to professional AV.
It is also why we support it: both next generation Cynap devices, Cynap Pure (Next Gen) and Cynap Ultra, include PoE+ as standard. Where your network supports PoE+, one cable can handle power and connectivity. If not, power it conventionally. Your choice.
A small detail, with a meaningful impact on system design.
