Bisher fanden jährlich zwei große VMware Explore-Events statt – eines in Las Vegas und eines in Barcelona. Dieses Jahr ändert VMware das Format: Las Vegas bleibt das zentrale Event, doch statt Barcelona gibt es nun eine neue globale Veranstaltungsreihe – Explore on Tour.

Diese 1- bis 2-tägigen Events bringen das Know-how und die Innovationskraft von VMware Explore direkt in verschiedene Städte weltweit – näher dran an den lokalen Communities.

Aus unserer Sicht ist das ein Schritt in die richtige Richtung. Der freie Zugang zu wichtigen Infrastrukturtools wie ESXi ermöglicht es IT-Fachkräften, Studierenden und Technikbegeisterten, praktische Erfahrung zu sammeln – etwas, das kaum möglich ist, wenn der Zugang komplett eingeschränkt ist.

Wir freuen uns darauf, dass mehr Menschen die Chance bekommen, mit dieser zentralen Virtualisierungstechnologie zu arbeiten.
