Vinokilo is Back ONLINE and 1st Time in Switzerland 🔥

In COVID lockdown times, , the home of Europe’s largest kilo sale events had to pivot online and quickly became one of the leading online stores for quality vintage garments.

It was a tough margin game with every item being hand selected & hand steamed, photographed , sized, priced and titled. Many steps that only were possible to finance via partnership with AboutYou’s 2nd Love Platform and in huge volumes. After covid, the work involved and the volume we had became imbalanced. Which is why in 2022 we had to close down the e-commerce store.

But we’re delighted to announce those issues are now a thing of the past, with Stephan from approaching Robin with a solution for timely and cost effective operations. A process that previously took minutes per item now takes seconds with Minimist allowing us to resume what once was our forte. We’re so excited to be bringing Europe’s biggest vintage kilo sale online and as a pilot in Switzerland to you - the fans - putting your favorite vintage finds at your fingertips once again.

Next to the exciting partnership with Minimist, Vinokilo Bcorp is proud to stay through to their impact mission having struck a partnership with . It’s a cause close to our hearts: The Züriwerk Foundation is committed to the social and economic inclusion of people with disabilities in the Canton of Zurich. The foundation’s goal is to ensure equal rights for people with disabilities, promote their independence and integration into society, as well as their personal development and quality of life.

What's the opposite of jet lag?! We're so energised after our recent trip to the UK for the Charity Retail Conference, where Minimist proudly participated as a partner!

On a mission to make new friends, Jordan and Stephan stepped into the UK charity store world: introducing Minimist to nationwide retailers like Oxfam, British Red Cross and Cancer Research UK (CRUK) to wonderful local teams like Highland Hospice from the north of Scotland.

We dove deep into the evolving world of charity retail, exchanged ideas with sector pioneers, and returned with more than just contacts: a renewed sense of clarity and drive.

Because what became abundantly clear is this: the need for scalable, tech-driven secondhand solutions is real!

And what we’re building at Minimist has the potential to empower exactly these actors on the frontlines of circularity. Thanks Charity Retail Association for this great opportunity!
