FRAMEWERT is the go-to provider when it comes to short and mid term premium constructions and the new brand reflects exactly that. 📈

It started with a simple request from Herbert and Jakob: a new website for Irmarfer EU & CH. What unfolded was a complete multichannel digital strategy.🚀

Through a series of 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽𝘀 diving deep into their strategic goals, market challenges and aspirations we helped shaping FRAMEWERT.

𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙙𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 – 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚

A development goal was set: turning insights and design into an easy to use and fast configurator.

This step focused on an innovative backend and frontend development which brings the user experience to life by creating a platform that users wanted.

To enable a multifaceted digital solution, 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝘆. That is why we work with a cross company working model for projects like the KTM & Husqvarna Configurator.

To deliver the best possible frontend, we used the newest state-of-the-art 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁.𝗷𝘀 with all its features like SSR and Caching improvements to ensure rapid speeds, responsiveness, and instant feedback for every customization.

Meanwhile, Avocodo GmbH managed the backend and PCH (Product Content Hub), ensuring accurate data for pricing, saved configurations, and more. PIERER Innovation GmbH and PIERER E-Commerce handled the management of the project as well as the bike assets.

Together, we faced the challenge of transforming the design’s vision into a seamless experience by optimizing load times and data handling to make each interaction feel fluid and intuitive.

The result? A high-performance configurator that combines user insights, thoughtful design, and technical innovation to make customizing motorcycles easy, fast, and enjoyable.

𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙖 𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣

Ready to see how 𝗨𝗫 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 set a strong foundation for the 𝗞𝗧𝗠 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿? When the first-ever KTM configurator was launched, many users found the login accessibility and interface to be significant barriers. Something wasn’t working as planned. 🏍️

That’s when our UX researchers stepped in. 📊
Through 𝗶𝗻-𝗱𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀 with riders in the US and Germany, along with detailed 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀, the main UX-issues started to surface. They also 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 to pinpoint where users were dropping off. All of these efforts led to one key insight: users were overwhelmed by the configurator’s complexity. They wanted a faster, easier way to customize their bikes—without the hassle of logins or unnecessary steps.

These insights 𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for the new KTM configurator, launched in July 2024. Now, users can effortlessly select Power Parts, change colors, save configurations for later, and interact with a more 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗿-𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲—𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 for on-the-go customization. 📱

With the KTM & Husqvarna configurator, a 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 was created by listening to riders' needs. Stay tuned for more posts covering how we contributed to building the motorcycle configurator for KTM and Husqvarna. 🚀
