Another new case I am very happy to share with you today. There is a new man’s fashion story in town called which I had the great pleasure to create a new identity for.

The client’s vision was to create a store that is the perfect mix between modern nordic and classic chique. So the whole branding focuses on bringing those two sides together. And while I am currently working on finishing all of the collateral, since the store will (hopefully) be opening soon, I couldn’t wait to share the brandmarks & logo with you already.

Sharing a new screendesign project I’ve been working on for the past couple of months with you. Sonicboom is a Vienna based agency that focuses on data driven communication. For the design, we chose a solution that is not only modern, minimalistic and a bit ‘techy’ but also focuses on nice animated details.

I am also super excited that I, once again, got the chance to work on a project together with .at, who are doing the development for this website. ✨

Yay! February!

It’s somehow pleasing to me that this new month starts on a monday. Also I am happy that January, that felt like it was 97 days long, is finally over. Although I am not sure that this period of lockdown and winter will make February any more exciting, but the thought that we are getting closer to spring and warm weather is indeed very soothing.

So here you have a little motivational lettering for a new month and a new week, because I think you should just go for it.

Starting into new weeks with breaks? Definitely!

Last year .evo asked me to create an animated Giphy-Sticker set for ’s social media campaign, that was all about the importance of taking a break and taking some self care time during stressful episodes. Even though it seems like we have so much more time with all the lockdowns and nothing much else happening, I still find that taking time to mindfully rest is something that often comes too short. So my personal mantra for this week is to take breaks, that I don’t spend mindlessly scrolling, but I fill with things that help me regain my energy and keep my spirits. 🎈

And by the way, you can still use all of the stickers under the hashtag ✨🤍

Over the years, I often had this discussion why you don’t need “just a logo” but a whole branding and how it can help your business become more successful.

Having a strategic branding will benefit you in many ways. When everything is aligned you audience will respond better to you, your brand will stand out and you will be able to charge more. It’s a way of identifying your business and so much more than “just a logo”.

Branding will make your clients fall in your business including butterflies and sparkles everywhere. ✨🦋

As designers we are used to work like crazy on big concepts and designs until everything is perfect and then only show the finished design and not a lot of process. But the truth is, to get to a finished design, you face a lot of variations and ideas that you want to try.

That’s why today, I am showing you a little study of a monogram logo for a client that din’t make the cut. What I really loved about this concept is the many possibilities you get from combining a cube and a monogram. It can be both, totally flat and also three dimensional, which gives it a nice twist. Also adding up layers through transparency is a nice and playful way to give a design a bit of an extra. While you have to be careful with transparencies in print, it can be super cool with digital projects to add a little soft elegance.

Start Before You Are Ready!

A quote I came across quite often here on Instagram recently, and still it couldn’t be more true. I often find myself waiting to feel “ready”. Not only with business topics but also with everyday tasks like emptying the dishwasher or doing a workout. So here’s my number one insight: often you have to simply begin with something in order to feel “ready”. And sometimes, you will never feel ready, but you’ll do it anyway, step by step, and suddenly you will be done and I promise you, this will feel great.

And because it’s friday, I will now start with spreading some lovely weekend vibes. I am feeling very ready for this, though. 😁🎈
