Wrap-up of the Australian Pinball Expo in SA.
What a fantastic event the Pinball Museum in Nhill put together
Lyndon and his team from the museum put together a USA-style event. With over 200 pinballs that could be played, with a Tournament room for hardcore pinball tournament players.
Amusement Worx had a stand with all the machines on free play; they never stopped.
Amusement Worx was also representing Stern Pinball on behalf of AMD (Amusement Machine Distributors), giving flyers and promotional gear away to the lucky punters and the most-asked question on the days what's the next title.
Strange that people were unaware of Amusement Worx selling Stern Machines.
Well, we have represented Stern Pinball and AMD for over 25 years.
Clients have told us that they prefer to support a local business and the personal touches we do to ensure that the machine we are delivering is perfect.
Amusement Worx, being the distributor of Vector, we had the pleasure of Jason from Vector come down and join us. We had the 5 Vector machines on display, and again they never stopped; the stand out three where the Peter Brock, Ned Kelly and, of course, the favourite, the Lost In Space machine.
Thank you, Jason, for attending the Expo.
It kept us very busy over the weekend, meeting up with many of the clients we have had for over 25 years, being the heart of Pinball and keeping pinball alive in SA for so long.
Not only was it about pinball, but it did have an element of Arcade games over the three days. Amusement Worx had the pleasure of one of our clients, Jefferey Riley, going for a title of fastest game and highest score that was filmed and being submitted to Twin Galaxies for approval to be the best game of Midnight Resistance.
Coming in at an incredible new world record score of 2,212,900 points.
Amusement Worx had over 20 machines on free play; they never stopped.
Was great to see some of the parts distributors, Pinball distributors and Wayne Gillard from Mr Pinball with his very impressive display of machines.
So, from all of the Amusement Worx Team, we would like to thank Lyndon and Simon from the Nhill Pinball Museum and team, for a fantastic expo and may there be many more to come.
And of course, all the people who came, played pinball and had a great time.
Remember, we do this for you, the players and the Pinball community.
Because.
Without you, we don't have a business and no expos.
