Technology is only valuable when it solves real problems in real-world environments.

At APC Technology, we don’t develop products and then search for applications. We work closely with customers across defence, mining, oil and gas, industrial, and utilities to understand the operational challenges they face - then engineer and manufacture solutions designed specifically for those conditions.

Our team combines deep technical expertise with practical industry experience to support customers through every stage of the product lifecycle, from concept development and ruggedised design through to upgrades, modifications, and ongoing support in the field.

We specialise in technology built for demanding environments where reliability is critical - remote operations, extreme temperatures, vibration, dust, and continuous operation. These are the conditions our systems are designed to withstand.

Behind every product that ships on time is a supply chain and project delivery team that doesn't get enough credit.

At APC Technology, our Supply Chain Manager Mal Lowen and Team manage a complex web of components, lead times, and supplier relationships - high-spec builds where off-the-shelf parts don't exist.

Operations Manager, John Battle and Project Planner David Shaw coordinate the workflow from order through to delivery, making sure engineering, manufacturing, and testing are aligned at every stage.

Warehouse Team Leader Quentin Green and his team handle receiving, and dispatch, the final step before products reach our customers.

What ties it all together is proximity. Supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, testing, and dispatch all operate from the same facility in Adelaide. When priorities shift or timelines tighten, the conversation happens face-to-face, not through a ticketing system.

It's not glamorous, but it's why things work.

A product is only as good as the conditions it's been proven to handle.

At APC Technology, our environmental test and validation capability is a critical part of the product lifecycle. Before anything leaves our facility, it goes through the relevant rigorous testing.

Our Test and Compliance Lead Steven Port, a member of our Engineering Team at hashtag run's the chamber and testing lab ensuring every unit meets the relevant military and industrial standards.

We also offer environmental testing as a standalone service for external clients. If you need to validate a product against MIL-STD, IP-rated, or custom environmental specs, our lab is equipped and experienced and provide consultation along with the generation of test methodologies, plans and reports.

Because, "it should work" isn't good enough!

Designing a product is one thing. Building it to withstand the real world is another.

Our manufacturing team at APC Technology handles everything from low-volume prototype builds to full production runs, including contract and build-to-print manufacturing for clients who need their products assembled to exacting standards.

Manufacturing Manager Kaine Atkinson and Manufacturing Lead Cooper Martin oversee a workshop floor that includes skilled assemblers, solderers, and technicians. Operations Manager John Battle keeps the broader operation running smoothly.

On any given day, you'll find our team, building products destined for defence platforms, mine sites, and industrial and remote infrastructure.

What makes APC Technology different is that our manufacturing sits alongside our engineering and test teams. If a build issue arises, the engineer who designed it is 20 metres away. That proximity speeds up problem-solving and keeps quality high.

It's manufacturing with context — not just following a spec in isolation.

Every ruggedised product at APC Technology starts with our engineering team.

We have a full in-house capability spanning electronic, electrical, and mechanical engineering — from initial concept through to detailed design, prototyping, and production-ready documentation.

Our Engineering Manager Mark Judd leads a team that includes senior electronic engineers, mechanical engineers, CAD designers, and drafts people.

Between them all, they bring decades of experience in designing products that meet demanding military and industrial standards.

Recently, our team completed a bespoke KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) unit developed for a prime contractor. Designed, engineered, and manufactured entirely in-house.

It's the kind of work that doesn't happen without experience and depth in engineering.

We’re pleased to welcome Rob Voyle to APC Technology as our new Strategic Growth Lead.

Rob brings more than 10 years of experience across the hashtag , hashtag , engineering and hashtag sectors, having worked closely with customers operating in demanding and complex environments.

His background includes supporting Tier 1 mining and infrastructure projects, developing strong customer relationships, and helping businesses navigate challenges around operational performance, delivery capability and commercial outcomes.

Rob’s experience in scaling regional operations and working across national industrial markets brings valuable industry insight and practical understanding to hashtag and the customers we support.

Based in Adelaide and travelling nationally, Rob will work closely with customers and partners across Australia as we continue delivering reliable, fit-for-purpose industrial technology solutions.
