The Platfarm team has spent the week on the Mornington Peninsula. We've been testing 5G GPS capabilities. It's accuracy will make autosteer in viticulture practical. In the mean time training up more of these dogs should do the trick.

From tomorrow Platfarm will be spending a few days on the Mornington Peninsula as part of a 5G/GPS trial with Frontier SI and Position Partners.

Position Partners will be using drone flyovers for Near Real-Time Image Processing. There has been a lot of hype about drones in farming. But it's definitely a technology and an application worth pursuing. You can read a bit more about Platfarm's investment in drone technology on our website

But even in the face of these challenges, THRIVE’s award winning program has absolutely lived up to its reputation.
And after 4 months we’re ready to pitch to an international audience of top investors, agriculturalists, and entrepreneurs at the THRIVE Demo Day — open this year to a global audience as a virtual watch party, presented by THRIVE in partnership with Forbes.

We hope you’ll be watching on Friday morning from 7am AEST

Drought, water shortages, well meaning but misguided technologists, unwelcome government intervention, and bushfires. Sounds like an article about in Australia right? Not this time.

Late last year Platfarm's CEO Oli Madgett hired a pink Cadillac and hit the road to visit San Francisco and Napa, California.

His reflections have just been published in Febs edition of The Australian and New Zealand Grapegrower & Winemaker magazine.
