Typically, security keypads are installed inside buildings for protection against weather and unauthorised access.

However, outdoor keypads are sometimes necessary - especially for gated entries, parking areas, or external access points.

Our client needed an external access, so we installed an outdoor keypad, linked to their existing indoor system. To protect the keypad from the elements, we also installed a weather shield housing.

The countdown is on. As major Australian carriers like Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone phase out their 3G networks to expand 4G and 5G services, Infratec Security is here to ensure your security system remains protected.

3G networks are shutting down across Australia, impacting many existing security systems installed with 3G communicator. This means these systems might lose the ability to communicate with monitoring centre and send crucial alerts.

🤔How Does This Affect You?
If your security system relies on a 3G network, it may become vulnerable during the shutdown. To avoid this, we recommend upgrading your system's communicator to a 4G model.👍
