A big new adventure for the beautiful Dallas at Towri Sheep Cheeses đź’•
Very humbled that she mentioned our Scenic Rim Rural Women’s Day celebration as a fav event 🥰
Good luck Dallas!
News from Towri
End of an era.
One of the Towri Ladies is spreading her wings :), don't worry not far, Dallas will still be over seeing the Towri Growers Markets and marketing of major events.
"Growing up on Towri has taught me an incredible insite into not only farm life but the power of collaboration with fellow farmers and what it takes to be an innovative thinker. Through Towri I grew as a community figure for agritousim and a collaborative connector for small businesses. To see first hand the power of how agritousim can add as a passive income to a farming family is something I want to share far and wide.
Dedicating more of my time as a board member to Destination Scenic Rim and connecting with farmers and small businesses in the Southern Downs and Granite Belt is a path i'm beyond excited about.
What you may not have known is I went to boarding school in Warwick and it was where I fell in love with community service. To be able to return and send our little Louanna to the same school is a beautiful tradition we want to hold close.
In the future we have plans on finding our dream farm but for right now we're having a go at a little reno in Warwick while we find our feet in the community.
Don't worry you'll still see me every month at the Towri Growers Markets, popping into local businesses, farms and wineries in the Scenic Rim. Oh and of course at my favourite local events like 'International Women's Day at Kerry Hall!'
See "ewe" soon around the Scenic Rim or pop by for a coffee in Warwick at our endless supply of groovy little cafes who I can't wait to boast about!"
