When Tayla Manca of Tayla Manca | Interior Idealist was tasked with renovating the bathroom of this Sydney family home, the goal wasn’t to erase the past. It was to celebrate it. Through warm apricot tones, tactile materials and carefully layered textures, Where Heart Meets History honours the home’s character while introducing a fresh sense of modernity.
Behind every beautifully resolved detail was a design process grounded in visualisation.
Using SketchUp, Tayla translated ideas into immersive 3D models, allowing the design to be explored, refined and communicated well before construction commenced. The result is a project where the final outcome feels remarkably true to the original vision.
