"Songlines from Australia’s First Peoples in a spectacular immersive experience"

​Melissa recently visited the exhibition at the National Museum of Australia with her mum Lorraine and sister Alison.

​Immerse yourself in Indigenous art and culture at The National Museum Australia, with the 'Connection' exhibition.

First Nations artists ​include Emily Kame Kngwarreye, Albert Namatjira, Tommy Watson, Gabriella Possum Nungurrayi, Anna Pitjara and Lin Onus.

​Indigenous musicians including William Barton, Yothu Yindi, Gurrumul, Emily Wurramara and Archie Roach.

​Exhibition ends October 9th 2022.

Are you an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander female (or who identifies as female) aged 14-24 residing in the Canberra Region? Have you ever wanted to be your own boss and start your own business?

Well, don’t miss this opportunity to see if business is right for you! Delivered by strong local Koori women who are in business, the Lighting the Spark program is a free workshop that builds the capability of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women 14 to 24 years who are interested in business.

The Canberra Indigenous Business Network (CIBN) has partnered with Young Change Agents to deliver an innovative workshop that provides an opportunity to understand the right mindset, skillset and toolset to thrive in business within a culturally safe space.

The community session workshops are on the 15th and 16th of June.
