Men’s Health Week 2026

Men’s Health Week is recognised around the world each year in June as an important opportunity to start conversations about the health and wellbeing of men and boys in our communities.

In 2026, Men’s Health Week will be held from 15–21 June, with the Australian theme focused on a simple but important message:

See a GP.

Men’s health is not only about physical health.

It is also about mental health, emotional wellbeing, stress, fatigue, lifestyle, and having the confidence to seek help early.

Research continues to show that men are at higher risk for many serious health conditions, including heart disease, diabetes and certain cancers. Mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety and su***de also continue to disproportionately affect men, yet many still hesitate to speak up or book an appointment.

This week is a reminder that looking after your health should never be seen as weakness.

It is responsibility.

It is leadership.

It is self-respect.

And it is something we should encourage more openly in our workplaces, families and communities.

During Men’s Health Week, we encourage men to:

Book a general health check.
Take regular exercise.
Pay attention to stress and fatigue.
Speak to someone if they are feeling low or overwhelmed.
Support a mate who may be struggling.
Seek help early instead of waiting until something becomes serious.

Sometimes the strongest thing a person can do is simply make the appointment.

This June, check in with yourself.

And check in with the men around you.

Before buying another software system, ask this first:

Will this actually simplify the business?

Because in enterprise operations, more software does not always mean more control.

Sometimes it means:

More logins.
More duplicated data.
More manual updates.
More disconnected approvals.
More reporting delays.
More places for critical information to hide.

A system should not just look impressive in a demo.

It should still make sense six months later when the team is using it every day.

That is the real test.

Can operations find what they need?
Can compliance prove what happened?
Can procurement see what is moving?
Can training records be trusted?
Can asset history be traced?
Can leadership make decisions without chasing answers?

In oil, gas, mining and energy services, software should not create another layer of complexity.

It should remove it.

At ZAHARA, we believe enterprise software should give businesses structure, visibility and control without forcing teams to work around the system.

Because the goal is not more technology.

The goal is a stronger operating business.

The problem with “visibility” is that everyone thinks they have it.

Until leadership asks a simple question:

“Are we ready?”

Ready for mobilisation.
Ready for audit.
Ready for handover.
Ready for growth.
Ready for the next contract.
Ready for the regulator.
Ready for the next phase of work.

That is when visibility gets tested.

Because real visibility is not a spreadsheet that gets updated when someone has time.

It is not a report that takes three days to pull together.

It is not five department heads giving five different versions of the truth.

Real visibility means leadership can see the state of the business as it actually stands.

Training status.
Asset readiness.
Compliance gaps.
Procurement movement.
Operational activity.
Document control.
Outstanding approvals.

All connected.

All traceable.

All in one place.

In oil, gas, mining and energy services, visibility is not just about being informed.

It is about being able to act before small gaps become expensive problems.

At ZAHARA, we believe visibility should not be something your team has to chase.

It should be built into the way the business operates.

A question for operations leaders:

How many systems does your team need to check before they know the truth?

One for training.
One for assets.
One for compliance.
One for procurement.
One for finance.
One for HR.
One spreadsheet that only one person understands.

If the answer is “too many,” the business has a visibility problem.

And visibility problems become operational problems.

They show up as delays.
They show up as duplicated work.
They show up as missed approvals.
They show up as compliance stress.
They show up when leadership cannot get a straight answer quickly.

In oil, gas, mining and energy services, this is not a small issue.

Because when information is spread across too many places, no one has a complete picture.

The goal should not be to add more software.

The goal should be to reduce operational confusion.

At ZAHARA, we believe the strongest operators are the ones with clear systems, connected workflows and trusted information.

Stop calling it digital transformation
if the business still runs on spreadsheets.

A new dashboard does not transform a company.

A reporting tool does not transform a company.

A shiny interface does not transform a company.

Transformation happens when the way people work actually changes.

When approvals follow a proper process.
When training evidence is current and visible.
When procurement has control.
When asset data is not buried in folders.
When compliance is built into daily operations.
When leadership can see what is happening without asking five different people.

For oil, gas, mining and energy services companies, this is not about looking modern.

It is about reducing risk, improving control, and giving decision-makers reliable information.

Because if your team still has to rely on spreadsheets, email trails, shared folders and memory to understand what is happening…

You have not transformed the business.

You have just added another layer on top of the same problem.

At ZAHARA, we believe real transformation starts when operations, compliance, training, assets, procurement and leadership visibility are connected inside one operational system.

The dangerous thing about disconnected systems
is that they usually look fine.

Until something goes wrong.

A document is out of date.
A training record is missing.
An approval was skipped.
An asset history cannot be found.
A purchase was made outside process.
A regulator asks for evidence.

Then suddenly the business realises the problem was not the people.

It was the system around them.

In high-risk industries, your software environment should not rely on memory, manual checking, or “I think someone updated that.”

It should create structure by default.

That means:

Clear approval pathways.
Live training visibility.
Controlled document access.
Traceable procurement.
Asset history that follows the asset.
Operational data that leadership can actually trust.

The goal is not to make teams feel monitored.

The goal is to make safe, compliant work easier to do.

Because in oil, gas, mining and energy services, the cost of disconnected information is not just inefficiency.

It is operational risk.

At ZAHARA, we believe the strongest systems are the ones that help good teams work with more control, more visibility and less friction.

Your software should not create more work.
It should remove it.

But in many operational businesses, software quietly becomes another job.

Teams spend hours:

Chasing approvals.
Looking for documents.
Manually updating spreadsheets.
Checking whether training is current.
Trying to prove compliance after the fact.
Pulling reports from five different systems.

That is not efficiency.

That is administration wearing a technology badge.

In oil, gas, mining and energy services, this matters because every delay has a cost.

A missing training record can delay mobilisation.

A manual approval can slow procurement.

A disconnected asset record can create operational risk.

A compliance gap can become expensive very quickly.

The point of enterprise software should be simple:

Give leadership visibility.
Give teams structure.
Give compliance evidence.
Give operations control.

Not more tabs.
Not more logins.
Not more disconnected processes.

Just one clear operational backbone.

That is what ZAHARA is built for.

One platform.
One source of operational truth.

ERP is not dead.
Bad ERP implementation is.

Most operators do not need another dashboard.

They need one operational system that actually reflects how their business works.

In oil, gas, mining and energy services, the issue is rarely a lack of software.

It is usually this:

One system for finance.
One system for HR.
One system for assets.
One system for training.
One system for compliance.
One system for procurement.
One system for operations.

Then leadership is expected to make fast decisions from disconnected information.

That is not digital transformation.

That is digital fragmentation.

At ZAHARA, we believe ERP is only the tip of the iceberg.

The real value sits underneath:

Operational control.
Compliance visibility.
Training evidence.
Procurement discipline.
Asset accountability.
Historical data.
Decision confidence.

Because the companies that win are not the ones with the most software.

They are the ones with the clearest operating system.

That is what ZAHARA is building.

One platform.
One source of truth.
Built for the industries where operational control actually matters.

Across the industry, teams still rely on dashboards that only show information rather than move it.

Charts glow on the screen while the real work happens in group chats, private spreadsheets, and side conversations that never make it into the system.

Supervisors double check stock by calling the warehouse.
Procurement tracks updates in their own files.
Approvals float around through emails long after the work has already begun on site.

The pattern is the same in every big operation.
Visibility exists, but the ability to act on that visibility is scattered across a maze of tools.

Modern workflows demand something different.
When a discrepancy appears, the adjustment should be immediate.
When schedules shift, the next step should be simple.

When quantities change, the correction should happen inside the same environment where the issue was spotted.

Operations move in real time.
Systems that freeze the moment into a static display cannot keep up with that movement.

Executives often ask for stronger reporting or more detailed dashboards.
Yet the real breakthrough comes from merging information and ex*****on in one space so that decisions flow straight into action without losing momentum.

The organisations that adopt this approach experience fewer delays, fewer mismatches, and fewer moments where teams need to “work around the system” to get things done.
