Don't be fooled by this email. They are simply trying to get your access so they can hijack your email account. Block the "from" email address and DELETE it. Keep your email account safe 🔒

Look out for this scam being emailed. Remember, myGov would not send you emails with links to click on. If you aren't sure if it's legitimate, login using your usual method - never click on the link in the app and enter your login details (because that's what they want from you). If in doubt, give me a shout as I'm happy to give you some advice before you click the email.

Why would you register a ".au" domain name if you already have the ".com.au" domain name?

Before 20 September 2022, you have priority over this new TLD (top level domain). After that date, your ".au" domain will be available for all other businesses in Australia to purchase.

Stop your competitors from securing a domain name that is almost identical to your main ".com.au" domain - contact your hosting or domain name provider today.

Q: How do you avoid your phone number being incorrectly blocked by a potential client/peer who didn't answer their phone when you called?

A: Make sure you leave a voice message, then follow up with a very quick SMS so they know you've called.

Scam Alert - Apple ID emails being circulated.
**Always check the email address that it has come from. If it doesn't come from the any address that ends with "apple.com", then you can be sure it is a scam and someone trying to get your details.

As a matter of curiosity, I clicked the link and it took me directly to what looked IDENTICAL to the Apple ID sign on page. I signed on with a fake email (and not a complimentary one either 😉) and it then took me directly to the Credit Card payment page.

APPLE WILL NEVER DO THIS TO YOU!! This same principal can be applied to every single email requesting you to click a link and sign in. Legitimate emails from legitimate companies will not EVER request you to do that randomly (unless you have first initiated a request from them).
