A password manager plus unique passwords plus MFA isn't paranoia. It's the baseline.

MFA on its own won't save you anymore.

Attackers don't bother cracking passwords when they can steal the session token after you've logged in — or just spam approval prompts until someone taps yes to make it stop.

What actually closes the gap: number matching, conditional access, and knowing which of your staff are being targeted.

If your MFA was set up once in 2020 and never touched since, it's due for a look.

Features you already own. No extra cost. Just unconfigured.

Most businesses on Microsoft 365 Business Premium are using perhaps a third of what they pay for every month. Not because the features are hidden — because nobody was ever given a reason to turn them on.

It's the cheapest security upgrade available to you, because you've already bought it.

You're paying for Business Premium and using it like Basic.

Three things already sitting inside that licence, switched off by default:

→ Device management, so a lost laptop stops being a breach
→ Advanced email protection, catching what the standard filter waves through

That's not a small thing when your network is down and you need to trust the person fixing it.

We restore a client's data on purpose. Every month.

Not because something went wrong. Because the only way to know a backup works is to make it prove it.

An untested backup isn't a safety net. It's a rumour that everyone believes until the day it matters.

Ask your provider when they last ran a restore. The pause before the answer tells you most of what you need.
