We’re counting down to January 2026 when our ESPM Team Meeting is back!

It’s been a big year of growth and hard work, and with an even busier November and December ahead, this meeting will be a great chance for our amazing team of technicians from Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India, Hong Kong, South Africa, and Russia to come together with our leadership and admin teams to reflect on what we’ve learned, build on our skills, and share our experiences working with some of the world’s most immersive projection systems.

Message from ESPM Leadership:

“This isn’t just about training. This meeting is also a chance for everyone to openly share feedback and have real conversations about how we can improve and grow together as a team. It’s about listening to each other and making sure we’re all moving forward in the best way possible.

Ken Robbins – A Pioneer in Cinema Entertainment

Ken Robbins has devoted more than five decades to the magic of movies, combining a lifelong love of cinema with hands-on technical expertise and entrepreneurial drive.

He founded the businesses that would become the Robbins Group, setting uncompromising standards for craftsmanship, reliability, and customer care across the entertainment industry.

Beginning with Entertainment Services Pty Ltd, Ken built a reputation for precision technical services and rapidly grew the company into Australia’s second-largest cinema equipment supplier.

Guided by the same vision, the Robbins Group has since expanded to include Macrosphere - a leading provider for the concept, design, and installation of educational and multi-purpose performing facilities and Fire Defender - a supplier of innovative fire-retardant solutions that protect communities and commercial buildings.

Today, the Group also includes ESPM (Asia) Co., Ltd, which provides complex installations and service programs throughout the Asia–Pacific region and beyond.

At the heart of Ken’s leadership is family. Working alongside his son Neil, his daughter-in law Margaret, and their children David and Mel, he has nurtured a culture that values integrity, mentorship, and long-term partnerships.

Ken remains actively involved in the business, championing continuous improvement, safety, and training while mentoring and empowering the next generation of technicians and project leaders.

From projection rooms to large-scale rollouts, Ken’s legacy is one of innovation, dedication, and a steadfast belief that exceptional cinema experiences start with great people, expert engineering, and attention to detail.
