⚠️ ACSC has issued a High Alert: attackers are actively targeting online code repositories - where organisations store software code, automation scripts, and configuration files.

The attackers aim to steal credentials and tokens that let them walk straight into a company’s codebase.

Once inside, they can tamper with code, steal data, or use software updates to deliver malware. It’s one of the fastest growing supply chain attack methods - and Australia is a key target.

Tech Tip Tuesday: If your browser feels slow, glitchy, or it’s personally offended by your existence, here’s a quick fix that works more often than you’d expect:

👉 Close your browser completely - every tab, every window - and reopen it.

✅ That’s it. Instant improvement.

Why it works:
• Browsers quietly hoard memory over time
• Extensions pile up background processes
• Tabs keep running scripts
• Cached pages can get stuck in weird states

A full close and reopen clears all of that without touching your history, passwords, or saved tabs.

👉Bonus tip:
If you’re a chronic “47 tabs open” person, try using Collections or tab groups to keep things tidy without losing anything important.
