"It's made me not hate printers." We're having that engraved.

Megan Musselwhite from Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill shares how PaperCut turned their print environment from a daily source of chaos into something that just, quietly, works, for students and teachers alike.

Login fatigue is a real thing. So with the all new PaperCut MF 26.0, we've done something about it.

Modern authentication means users log in once and get access across every PaperCut MF component. No more juggling sessions or repeating credentials.

It connects cleanly to the identity providers your organisation already uses, like Okta, Entra ID, PingFederate, and JumpCloud, and enforces MFA consistently across every single print login.

Human error reportedly accounts for up to 95% of security breaches.

Which means the most sophisticated thing you can do for your security posture might actually be to make things way simpler.

Less friction means fewer workarounds, and fewer workarounds means fewer gaps. If you do it right, simplicity won't cost you control, it'll actually give you more.

“Sustainability is very important to Google nowadays,” says Ofer. “So the idea that we could literally save paper on printing was appealing to us from the get-go.”

How are school IT teams managing print queues today? We've saved you the search.

They are:
- Limiting queues per building to avoid the one-printer-one-queue sprawl
- Standardizing everything with a single universal print driver
- Using mobility or ‘Find Me’ printing to reduce dependency on specific queues
- Monitoring centrally and auto-clearing stuck jobs before they become tickets
- Deploying print queues via directory groups rather than by hand

Got a fancy new ARM64 laptop? Printing from it just got a whole lot easier.

One of the improvements in PaperCut MF 26.0 is the new Global Print Driver, which means one single queue handles everything. And if a manufacturer hasn't dropped an ARM64 driver yet, no stress. PaperCut steps in and unblocks your users immediately.

Unlike Windows or macOS, Chromebooks don't rely on traditional print drivers. Which leads to a question we hear a lot, especially in schools: how do you actually implement Find-Me printing on Chromebooks?

A common question we see is: how do you implement Find-Me printing on Chromebooks? Especially when it comes to schools?
