It’s Origin time, so we’re settling another great rivalry: Microsoft Power Apps vs Dynamics 365.
Before the Dynamics fans start throwing cans at us, both are excellent solutions. In fact, they’re built on the same Microsoft ecosystem and can both deliver serious enterprise capability. But they play very different games.
Dynamics 365 is the representative side. Proven, feature-rich and ready to run onto the field with mature capability and benefits out of the box.
The catch? You’re paying for the full squad, whether you need them all or not.
Power Apps, on the other hand, lets you build around the way your organisation actually works – and at around a quarter of the price of Dynamics 365.
For many organisations, that means getting most of the capability they actually need, without the representative-level salary cap.
Our view? If you genuinely need Dynamics 365, use Dynamics 365. It’s excellent.
We love our blues, but if you’re bending your business around a product, paying for features you don’t use, or staring down $150+ per user per month in licensing, it might be time to switch jerseys.
Need a referee? RKDN works across both. We’ll help you pick the side that actually suits your game.
