🌍 Earth Day at Netier 🌱

Today we celebrated Earth Day by coming together as a team, proudly wearing our Netier white t‑shirts and capturing some great moments along the way 📸

Team members also embraced a small sustainable action by bringing reusable drink tumblers and enjoying a hot beverage on us. A perfect excuse to step out, grab a drink, go for a walk, and connect with colleagues. ☕♻️

And of course… there were cupcakes! 🧁

Thanks to everyone who took part and helped turn small actions into positive impact 💚

Our marketing team attended the Content Summit Australia t the beautiful Brisbane Powerhouse, learning from some of the best in brand, communication and marketing.

Here’s what stuck with us most:

📚 Mistakes aren’t failures, they’re part of building a culture of improvement.

⏲️ If people don’t “get it” instantly, they’re gone. Attention is earned in seconds.

🫵 Start with the audience, not yourself. Always.

💡If you can’t explain it simply (think explaining it to your mum), it’s not clear enough.

🎯 Strong hooks matter, but trust is lost when the content doesn’t deliver.

We left inspired, our creative minds refreshed and buzzing with new ideas. Also… we drank a lot of coffee. ☕️

Last month, our L&D team spent two energising days with our Brisbane crew, delivering interactive sessions focused on self-awareness, team dynamics, culture, and future vision.

Together, we explored:

🔹 Self
Understanding individual working styles using Saville Wave Work Roles, and identifying strengths, motivators, and communication preferences.

🔹 Team
Mapping connections through a hands-on “team constellation” activity, creating space to reflect on collaboration and alignment.

🔹 Culture
Exploring trust using Brené Brown’s BRAVING model and identifying the behaviours that shape a strong and supportive culture.

🔹 Future
Using a “garden” metaphor to visualise growth - what’s thriving, what needs attention, and future opportunities.

The sessions were filled with openness, curiosity, and genuine connection. It was a valuable opportunity to strengthen alignment and build momentum for the future.

Shoutout to our Marketing and Events Coordinator, Eva for representing Netier at the 2026 Canberra Day Appeal Fun Run! 🏃‍♂️

This event brought the community together around Lake Burley Griffin to support local charities and organisations through Hands Across Canberra, turning every kilometre into something meaningful.

Great effort getting out there, staying active, and contributing to a great cause. Proud to see our team making an impact beyond the office.
