More Privacy and freedoms lost, more families CONTROLLED by our government. Where does it stop? Do I need to just hand my child over and let the government do what they want with her?
When do the camera's get set up in my home to start watching me? Oh, but wait, we let them pass the META data BS through parliament so what's to stop them just turning the ones on in our phones and on our computers? I mean Microsoft just embedded AI into your Outlook programs and has permission via terms and conditions to scan through your emails thanks to the META DATA BS getting put through. I remember through the '90's people talking about Big Brother coming to watch us, well guess what he's really here now and we are letting it happen.

As age verification rolls out throughout August 2026 on Microsoft Store and XBOX Store, you may be prompted to complete age verification before purchasing or accessing apps and games rated 18+. If verification isn't completed, you may not be able to purchase or access content rated 18+. Games and content you already own are not affected.

Still working hard getting everything ready for Commodore Day in Canowindra.

The event booklet is now about 95% complete, and it’s really starting to come together. So far, I have 10 Commodore computers lined up for display — all different models, all fully working. A few still need their detailed clean‑up, but we’re getting close.

I originally hoped to write a custom demo program for every single machine on display, but with each system using its own operating environment, that goal is looking a bit out of reach if I want the event to happen this year. Even so, every machine will be running something, and each one will be alive and showing off what made Commodore special.

And of course, the brand‑new Commodore will be there in all its glory.

No gambling in GTA an 18+ Game? Time to stop the bull and tell them NO! We lose enough freedoms in reality without them taking away our gaming freedom. Enough is enough!! Please take the time to sign this petition

For those who do not know it's gambling in a game with game money that you can not withdraw... Otherwise I would be flying a gold plated helicopter to work to check on my employees and I would probably own all of Canowindra.

Time’s are tough, and with the current excuses for RAM and storage price hikes — which in some cases have seen costs increase to over 4× — the price of a new computer or even a simple upgrade has gone through the roof.

Thankfully, there’s some light for those needing a new machine in the form of refurbished laptops that come with a 12‑month warranty.

As always, you’ll have peace of mind that the machine you purchase will perform for you, and I still hold firm on my morals: I refuse to sell crap that should never have been made in the first place, unlike pretty much every “box mover” in Australia.
The machines I’ll be recommending have enough power to run Windows 11 properly — without needing a cup of your favourite hot brew in between opening web browser tabs.

An interesting email I got about the Callback phone from Commodore...

Hi friend,
I know a phone may not have been what you were expecting from us.

Honestly, I get it. And I owe you a proper explanation.

A few years ago, my priorities changed. I became a father. And somewhere between the night feeds and the realization that I was spending entire evenings chasing likes on a glowing rectangle, I had to reckon with the kind of person I actually wanted to be. The conversations that followed, with my partner, with myself, changed my life.

I switched to a flip phone. Not as an experiment. As a decision. It became my daily driver. And I won't pretend the first few weeks were easy. I'd catch myself reaching for it out of habit, standing in a checkout line with nothing to scroll. So I snapped it shut, put it away, and looked up. Turns out there was quite a lot going on.

But that flip phone was too dumb. And the others available were too smart. What I wanted just didn't quite exist. I didn't want social media, or a browser. It let the wrong things in. But I need apps like Uber, Maps, WhatsApp, HQ Music Player, and a 4K Camera. Turns out a lot of people were wrestling with the same thing. Parents. Students. People who missed being present. People who wanted the convenience of modern apps without the endless feeds. So together with a team of engineers and partners, we started building what we couldn't find: a phone that sits comfortably between dumb and smart.

That's why we built the Callback.

Commodore was never about doing what was expected. The Commodore 64 wasn't supposed to run a GUI. Then came GEOS. It wasn't supposed to speak. Then came Impossible Mission. Limited specs made limitless minds. That was always the point.

The Callback is that same idea. Limits on what big tech can take from you. Limits on how much of your attention the office can claim. And within those limits, the space to discover who you are when you switch off.

And how fitting, that a company whose lights dimmed in the ’90s, returns for its Y2K era, just as so many of us are reaching back for that exact same simpler tech. This community kept the torch burning for thirty years. The least we could do is build something worthy of that.

I met a person this morning that has been trying to contact me for an extremely long time but could never get through on the phone, apparently it would just say this number is not available.. I asked to check the number, it was correct. I asked them to call me, my phone did not ring.. I listened as the phone she dialled from said "This number is not accepting calls". This should never happen even if my phone is off or out of service, it SHOULD go to message bank. I wonder how many other people have never been able to contact me and how much business I have lost. My provider is Optus if anyone is wondering and I have had this number with them for about 14 years.
