Classic out of Japan Luxman R600 receiver

So after 3 months off the tools due to health issue's back at the workbench
Had a productive morning repairing and assembling this old classic luxman R600 receiver out of the 70s
Recapped an
Still have to check the supply and bias adjustment and check the thermal output
Put in some protection fuses on the output stage do some final tests and put this classic back in service 👌

So concludes another chapter in my life 1987-2026
After 40 years of audio visual repairs & service and sales
Working for major companies as well as my own business and everything else between

I am closing the doors due to my physical & mental health
This decision has come to a crossroad
The ridiculous price in rent and the cost of doing business increases and no maintenance on the building new ownership of the building and the costs of maintenance and repairs due to antisocial violence in the shopping complex and on the shop windows - its time to move on

I wish to thank all my family & friends ,customers past & present and sponsors and the community

I am truly great full to have been able to offer my expertise as a service to the community and wish to thank you all for the support along the way

In the coming weeks I will be contacting existing customers who have repairs in the shop under progress to come and collect their equipment fixed or not put back together
your items will be put in plastic crates awaiting your collection
Any new jobs not started will be assessed and you will be contacted with a outcome

Any equipment not picked up will be auctioned off at a open garage sale in the comming weeks pick up a bargain. !
