Instagram music library is the 💣😆😆.

Happy weekend everyone, hope first week of normality wasn’t too 😭 and the 🌎doesn’t implode over the next few days.

I have a list of about 65,000 jobs to do but watching traitors 🏰 and hopefully Hamnet are also on the agenda.

This bag is quite a sizeable beast so good for all those errands that need running and all my 🍿 for the cinema 😆

Happy New Year to everyone. I’ve been a bit absent because I’ve been sick for nearly a month which has been wild. Don’t get COVID is also can say.

Anyway thank you for making this my busiest seasonal period to date. I wasn’t expecting it as I haven’t got my head around tariffs yet so am still only selling to the UK, so thank you all. It’s on my mahoosive list to figure out this very complicated new business barrier and start offering worldwide shipping in the New Year again (fingers crossed).

I have big plans for 2026, one of which will be to strengthen my immune system, ha!
But also continuing with the website and growing my Etsy, fixing my vintage shop , spending more time on me and what I like to do, probably making more things, more mindfulness and healing, and putting myself and my family and friends first.

It’s been quite a negative year for me in certain parts of my life but the growing in strength of my shop has made me super proud and kept me going when my confidence in my creativity has perhaps been a bit challenged. But 2025 what a year - New York, being in Kent a bit more with my family, making lots of things, 2 blocks of sewing college, watching far too much TV, taking my first ice cold dip with pals, knitting shows, cinema, good beers, improving my mental health naturally with positive meditation (and being able to lower my medication dose), keeping going despite the crap and seeing a new possible future that I had never considered before 2025.

Here’s to 2026, love to all, thank you to my friends for sticking with/ putting up with me, thank you to my family for always being there.
Tx

Another crazy busy week at work but I’ve finally managed to get everything made, carded and listed at last. Hurrah!!

Also swipe to see a backdrop I drew for the Mod singing competition that I found out today has been made an exhibit at the Glennfinnan Railway Museum. So excited for a road trip to go and see it ❤️🚝🚆

It was my 25 year work anniversary last week, it’s taken me a while to post about that as I’m not too sure how I feel about it, even though it’s a pretty cool achievement.

I’ve seen groups of my colleagues posting on social media about having joint celebrations, I was never part of a trainee scheme and also I accidentally got a job that someone else wanted quite early on in my career, that led to a subsequent smear campaign, resulting in mass loss of friends and being reported to the union about 556 times about nothing.

So I got my head down and just worked really through my 20s..and then my 30’s.. and now my 40’s and I’ve been really lucky to work on some amazing things but I have tended to let work be the be all and end all of life, which makes me think a lot about my time here.

Anyway some highlights -
I’ve worked with Jamie Hewlett on Phoo Action when he was “UK Graphic Designer of the Year” and he said I was a great designer, hurrah! I’ve made records for Mark Ronson to play in NYC, cut stencils for Banksy and made a Radiohead approved video that people said would be impossible to get signed off by them, but they did. I’ve been responsible for the first ever BBC completely in-house children’s animation and had a character based on me and have photoshopped a sticker as big as the BBC building for the Commonwealth Games. I had a message from Joe Lycett saying “normally he thinks GFX are s**t but he liked mine!” and most excitingly been retweet by Idris Elba for some GFX I did for Akala.

I’ve got to work on so many brilliant things and with so many brilliant people - quiz shows, children’s, arts, documentaries, news, sport. I’ve learnt so much and had a blast in Scotland, considering I was only planning on being here for a year, getting some training and moving back to London, ha!

I’ll get a drink tomorrow and try to celebrate (even though it’s a wee bit late) and toast myself to the next chapter in my life.

PS thanks to best work buddy for taking this photograph of me in front of my work.
