From Wellington to Dubbo, Narromine, Mendooran, Dunedoo, Coolah, Binnaway, Coonabarabran, Baradine, Moree, Warialda, Narrabri, Wee Waa, Boggabri, Gunnedah, Bingara, and Inverell, our Digital Nebula team hit the road for Get Online Week — bringing hands-on digital learning and AI exploration to regional communities across northern New South Wales. 🚐💻
Across Men’s Sheds, libraries, and community hubs, locals discovered how artificial intelligence and emerging technologies can simplify daily life, inspire creativity, and improve online safety. Many even tried out AI-powered smart glasses, sparking laughter, curiosity, and deep conversations about how innovation can thrive in small towns. 👓💬
💬 “I never thought I’d be talking to an AI tool about real-life problems — it’s made technology feel less like science fiction and more like something we can all use.”
💬 “It’s eye-opening to see how AI can actually help rather than hinder — like discovering a new set of tools we never knew we had.”
💬 “These sessions built confidence and trust — now it feels like technology is for everyone.”
Together, these community meet-ups proved that when learning is local, social, and hands-on, technology becomes not just accessible — but empowering. 🌏
