⚠️ SAFETY ALERT: Submerged Electrical Hazards
Flood recovery is a high-risk phase. While the water may have receded, the danger often remains hidden behind walls and inside equipment.

At Risk Pass, we’re urging property owners and managers to remain vigilant. Submerged electrical appliances and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) pose a significant risk of internal corrosion, electrical failure, and fire—even after they appear dry.

If your property is flood affected:
🚫 Do Not Power Up: Avoid the temptation to "test" equipment. If it was submerged, it is unsafe.

🔋 Unplug and Isolate all affected appliances: If you have a Solar PV or BESS installation, isolate the system and keep it powered down.

⚡ Professional Clearance: All flood-affected electrical accessories must be inspected and certified by a licensed electrician before use.
