Local lady Ray Godbier has been hard at work training and competing in the sport of power lifting. Her hard work has seen Ray win State titles in her age group for the past two years in three lifts - bench press, squat and deadlift.
She has qualified for the Australian National Titles for the second consecutive year. This event is in Melbourne in September.
In huge news Ray has been invited to the World Titles in Power Lifting which is being held in Las Vegas, USA in November.
With her busy life, working two jobs, running her own Pilates studio and having a tough training schedule, Ray has been rewarded for all that work.
Good luck Ray - in Melbourne and Las Vegas.

Rory Gartside from Cootamundra Public School is representing Riverina Schools in both rugby league and rugby union at State Carnivals (in Parkes and Mudgee) for the second time, having also represented Riverina in both codes in 2025. Good luck Rory! The Foundation made a donation to help the family with the costs associated in these two carnivals.
