F I L T E R C A R E T I P S
Wash your filters monthly to maximise your Dyson running efficiently.
□ Pull out your filter/s. Lightly tap the filter to loosen the dust so that it falls out.
□ Cold - tepid water
Run the water through the filter until the water runs clear. Wring out your filter (if it's a soft filter).
□ No detergent
□ No scrubbing
□ Allow 48 hours to fully air dry (3-4 days in colder months)
Don't use a hair dryer, clothes dryer or microwave otherwise it will damage the fibres of your filter.
No shortcuts here!!!
□ During summer when temperatures reach 30° plus, place the filter in a netted laundry bag and hang it outside, your filter will dry within 24 hours.
All upright vacuums have a HEPA which sits in the ball. Dyson recommends that these be washed every 6 months.
Change your filter annually or sooner if functionality has been compromised.
Tip : Have a 2nd filter while your other filter is drying. Or simply alternate your filters every month.
