New branding for TruGuide, an Australian manufacturer producing specialised radio frequency filters and shields to keep the nation’s most sensitive spaces truly secure 🔒
TruGuide needed a brand that could hold its own in a category almost entirely served by imported manufacturers, establishing itself as a credible, Australian alternative for government and defence clients where the cost of failure is measured in national security, not customer complaints.
Drawing on the Sage archetype, trusted for expertise rather than self-promotion, I built the identity around the dual meaning of TruGuide’s own product: a mark that reads as both a filter and a shield. A mixed-case wordmark and confident, humble sans serif keep the tone refined rather than loud, while a restrained, steely palette signals the quiet authority needed to win trust with procurement officers and security consultants.
The result is a brand that feels precise, dependable and authoritative, giving TruGuide the credibility to become the default name in its field through reputation. It lays a strong foundation to scale across the Australian government and defence sector without losing the understated, engineer-led credibility that earned its trust in the first place.
