Libraries are still magical.
They’re just getting a little more TEK. 📚🪄

Book Week is all about stories that pull students in, spark imagination and take learning somewhere unexpected.

And today’s library can do a whole lot more than hold the books.
Interactive displays, digital storytelling, collaborative learning and immersive experiences can help turn a great story into something students can see, hear, explore and share.

Because technology shouldn’t replace the magic of a good book.
It should give us even more ways to bring it to life.

Designed for the space. Built for everything that happens in it.

The opening of the Limestone Coast Technical College in Mount Gambier represents a major step forward for regional, industry-aligned education, and TeachTEK was proud to help shape the technology behind the campus.
Working alongside Kennett Builders, our technical services team designed and delivered a campus-wide audiovisual ecosystem that feels completely at home within the building.
The design draws on the character of the Limestone Coast, working carefully around the natural timber features and architectural finishes to create spaces that are visually clean, highly functional and technically powerful.
▪️No awkward bolt-ons.
▪️No equipment fighting the architecture.
▪️No last-minute redesigns.
In fact, the system design was so tightly coordinated that not a single variation was required throughout delivery.
A standout feature is the Aurora LED display in the Open Commons, integrating a beautifully visual display into an even more stunning limestone wall.
But this space was designed to do far more than look impressive.
The LED supports wireless presentations, student showcases, events and movie nights, while an integrated Microsoft Teams Rooms solution brings in multi-camera capability and AI tracking for a more natural, professional conferencing experience.
The result is a genuinely multipurpose space that can move from presentation mode to collaboration, hybrid learning or community use without the usual technical gymnastics.
Across the college, the broader technology solution includes:
📺 Philips commercial displays across meeting pods, staff spaces and mobile presentation areas
📲 Vivi wireless collaboration and digital signage throughout the campus
🎥 HP Poly hybrid meeting technology for remote learning and industry engagement
🔊 Professional audio systems from Shure, Tannoy, Labgruppen and Mipro
📘 On-demand visual training guides to help staff confidently operate each space when they need them
Every part of the system was designed to be reliable, intuitive and ready for the way the college actually works.

When your install is solid… and Zayden wants to prove it. 💪😏
At TeachTEK, we take school safety seriously.
Displays, brackets and AV gear might look simple once they’re on the wall, but what matters is everything happening behind them: the right fixings, the right structure, the right hardware and an install that’s built properly from day one.

So yes, sometimes the TEK crew gives the finished job a little extra confidence check.
And sometimes Zayden just sees an opportunity to show off. 😂

Either way, the result is the same:
Safe. Strong. Built to last.
Because when technology is installed around students and staff, “that’ll do” simply doesn’t cut it.

And that’s kind of the point.
School signage shouldn’t need a USB stick, three passwords, a mystery remote and the one staff member who knows how it works.
With the right commercial display and signage platform, updating what’s on screen can be quick, simple and managed from wherever you need it.
