💙 WE DID IT! 💙

$176,796 RAISED!

What an incredible result!

After a seven-year break, Big Freeze Echuca Moama returned, and together our amazing community has raised an outstanding $176,796 for FightMND.

To everyone who donated, sponsored, volunteered, slid into the icy water, attended the event, bought raffle tickets or merchandise, bid in the auctions, or simply helped spread the word—thank you. This achievement belongs to every one of you.

When we last held Big Freeze Echuca Moama in 2019, our community raised an incredible $83,000. To return and more than double that result is beyond anything we could have imagined.

This event was about so much more than fundraising. It was about bringing our community together, honouring those we have lost, supporting those currently living with MND, and creating hope for a future free from this devastating disease.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with Team Lorna's Girls and helping us continue Neale Daniher's legacy to FightMND.

Together, we are making a difference.

What an event!!!! ❄️🧊

The .echucamoama on Monday was just incredible. Chris braved the cold and took the plunge in memory of her dad. The whole event raised over $100,000 for MND.

The Echuca Moama Big Freeze is just around the corner! ❄️🧊

Chris is a slider in the event and is fundraising on for MND in memory of her Dad who passed in September 2025 with MND.

We are asking on the day for as many supporters as possible to wear a funky 90’s tracksuit - as bright and bold as possible and Chris will be going full Kath Day-Knight with the blonde wig too!

❄️ The BIG Freeze Echuca Moama is back and it’s set to be bigger, bolder and colder than ever!

Join us at Rich River for a fun-filled family day as we come together to raise vital funds for FightMND. The BIG Freeze Echuca Moama is all about helping Beat the Beast, raising funds and awareness for MND, a devastating disease that affects the ability to move, speak, eat and breathe.

🔥 What’s on:
• Cheer on our brave sliders as they take the icy plunge
• Jumping castle + Tex the Bull
• Dash for Cash down the 18th fairway
• Junior Golf Clinic: a fun one-hour session for the kids ($10 per junior)
• Outdoor BBQ to keep everyone fuelled
• Big Freeze merchandise available on the day
• Plus all mini golf proceeds go directly to FightMND

This event is proudly driven by Team Lorna’s Girls, honouring Lorna Hicks and her inspiring fight. Her strength continues to bring this community together.

Today marks 9 years since Echuca Printers has been owned by Chris & Nick, and we celebrated with cake (of course) in magenta!
