Is your phone charging more slowly than usual? 🔋

It isn’t always the battery. Common causes include:

• A worn or damaged cable
• Dust or lint inside the charging port
• The phone becoming too warm
• Heavy use while charging
• An ageing battery

Please don’t use pins or other metal objects to clean the charging port — they may damage the internal contacts.

A phone was dropped in a swimming pool, placed in rice and then used again for a short time before it would no longer turn on. 💧📱

When we opened it, there was still a lot of water inside. Unfortunately, it reached us too late: moisture had already penetrated the logic board, and the phone continued restarting even after professional cleaning.

If your phone gets wet:
1. Switch it off immediately.
2. Do not charge it or keep using it.
3. Wipe the outside dry.
4. Do not put it in rice.
5. Bring it to a professional repairer as quickly as possible.

Acting quickly may improve the chance of saving the phone and its data, although water-damage outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
