It doesn't get much more custom than this!

A valued customer was set on having a bright purple, ornate frame to compliment the piece, something that isn't stocked by our suppliers. Luckily at Lemon Tree we go above and beyond for our customers and were able to provide a custom purple paint job, bringing the vision to life.

A custom frame. A custom colour. A custom size.

That's custom on custom!

And honestly, it's just gorgeous 💜🖼🍋

We've officially been handed the keys to a business with more than 50 years of history behind it and the more we've learned about Lemon Tree, the more we've realised:

It was never really about the frames.

People walk through our doors carrying pieces of their lives.

Artwork they've fallen in love with. Family photographs. Achievements they're proud of. Jerseys, medals, children's artwork, travel memories and wonderfully weird treasures that might mean nothing to anyone else, but EVERYTHING to them.

And there's one sentence we're already hearing again and again:

“I've been meaning to get this framed for years.”

We get it.

When something matters, you don't want to get it wrong.

That's what drew us to Lemon Tree. For more than half a century, this studio has built its reputation on trust, quality and craftsmanship and we're incredibly excited to carry that forward.

We believe the spaces we live in should reflect who we are and the stories that shaped us.

Those stories shouldn't spend their lives rolled up in tubes, buried in cupboards or forgotten on a hard drive.

They deserve a place in our lives.

Good Afternoon to our valued Lemon Tree Customers,

When Richard and I bought Lemon Tree framing from Ron and Pam Gerrish we were only the 3rd owners and had no experience in business....or framing!

I came from a nursing background, so this couldn't have been any more different, but we were excited to learn and continue to offer high class custom framing to the Central Coast!

That was 16 years ago and we are so proud that we have been a part of its 53-year history.

But now the time has come for us to pass the business into new hands and I'm really pleased to introduce Caleb and Katina who will be taking Lemon Tree onto its next chapter.

We've spent considerable time with them through the transition and know they share our commitment to quality, craftsmanship and looking after the people who have supported Lemon Tree for so many years.

Apart from ownership, everything else will be remaining the same, and I'll be here for a little while to ensure the handover is as smooth as possible.

Thank you for being a big part of our Lemon Tree journey.

With an enormous thank you to Lynsey and Richard for passing the torch, we would love to introduce ourselves. We’re Caleb and Katina and we’re incredibly grateful to be entrusted with the next chapter of a business that's been part of the Central Coast for over half a century.

We are an energetic young family of three both bringing a diverse range of skills and experiences into Lemon Tree, we are eager to start building our next season on the Central Coast.

Hi, Katina here! I have a background in customer service, business environments and have studied Psychology and Primary School teaching. I’ve spent the past year and a half as a Stay at Home Mum with our beautiful son who I am sure will be greeting you all with a smile. As a mother and teacher I'm naturally warm, welcoming and detail oriented, with a genuine passion for helping people, something I'm excited to continue through Lemon Tree.

Caleb here. I come from a blue collar background, from the Mining industry of Western Australia as an auto electrician, production lines, to landscaping and garden maintenance, with a sprinkle of sales and marketing! Throughout my career my focus has always been to produce the highest quality work and I am thrilled to be taking on Lemon Tree where I believe that has been an enduring value of the business.

For this reason Lemon Tree was of particular interest to us and we are committed to continuing the outstanding quality and craftsmanship that Lynsey and Richard have built over the past 16 years.

We also take seriously the trust you place in Lemon Tree when you bring us your treasured memories, artwork and achievements. Above all else, we're devoted to preserving the knowledge, team and reputation you've come to know and love.

We also have plenty of ideas for Lemon Tree's next chapter. Over the coming weeks, we'll share more about what we're building and why we believe this wonderful framing studio can become an even bigger part of the Central Coast creative community.
