A quick late lunch with Darren at the new Kuhuna Brewing Co. (formerly "The Monk"). I went for the burger and Darren a prawn pizza. Our ol' mate Andre is not in this week but is hanging out at home with his new best pal Thomas who arrived last weekend.

Friday lunch was a return visit to Ol' Faithful Beer & BBQ on Packenham St (next door to the Republic of Fremantle). Darren missed our last visit as it was his turn to go to Mudgee.
Ol' Faithful specialises in "low & slow" Southern BBQ and has 30 odd beers on tap. This week we were joined by old mates Jason and Ciro.

Getting a bit slack with the Tangelo Friday Lunch Posts. Last Friday we celebrated our newly minted Aussie Andre's naturalisation. What better way to do it than a pub Parmy at the Federal with Tangelo Lunch regulars, Darren, Mike, Viv, Jim & Ben.

Well it's been a long time between drinks but not between Friday Tangelo Lunches - just a bit slack in posting!
From the Top last WA Lock Down lunch in the studio with Darren(Andre in isolation in Bayswater), Pub lunch at the Orient with Doug Gibson, my mum and my Aunty Beryl. Lunch at La Bistrot with Andre and John Pallett. Andre and I enjoying dumplings in Rylstone, NSW last Thursday and today with our good mate Ben at the newly opened Old Faithful Bar & Grill on Packenham St. Cheers folks, have a great weekend!

Not the usual Friday Tangelo lunch - too short a week and too much work to do, so we nipped out for a quick bowl of noodles at Cafe 55. As luck would have it our good mate Doug Gibson from Brown Dog Fishing Co. had the same idea so we enjoyed lunch with Doug. All the best for the weekend folks!

Last and First
Hi folks all the best for 2021.
Looking forward to a less chaotic year than last! I kind of ran out of steam at the end of last year with my Tangelo lunch posts, I was just looking forward to knocking off for 3 weeks. We finished year with lunch at La Cabana in South Fremantle. It was beautiful afternoon in in the sunshine enjoying some great Mexican street food followed by a few cleansing ales at the new Running with Thieves Brewery across the road. This year we've kicked off with lunch at Gypsy Tapas. Enjoyed some great tapa's washed down with some Forge Brewing beers from Bridgetown.

Another successful Friday lunch. This week myself, Andre and our mate Matt Jessup ventures down to the recently opened Running with Thieves brewery and distillery in South Fremantle. It’s a big venue, lots of beers to choose from. Food menu is a bit limited I’m sure the selection will improve.
Our friend Matt is a saturation diver and has recently returned from an extended dive season in the North Sea. Matt says he’d be in the chamber reading our Friday lunch posts on Facebook so now that he’s home we thought we’d better invite him along.

Whata day! Mike, Greg, Darren, Andre & Kim started with a beer at the new "Calamity's Rod" bar at the Hougoumont Hotel on Bannister St, followed by lunch at the National and rounded off with a gin and tonic at our mates new establishment the "Republic of Fremantle" distillery on Packenham St. Cheer's folks here's to a wonderful weekend.

Last Friday was a day trip to Port Hedland, first time in 35 years. We are designing a signage style guide for the Town of Port Hedland. Currently the town has no guidelines for signage and needs to develop one for a more planned approach to signage design and fabrication. Port Hedland hasn't changed that much but South Hedland sure has. Now we know what's there, what required and what's redundant.
