when you buy a new computer Microsoft quietly puts bitlocker on by default without telling you they really should let you decide anyway if you ever get caught out its normally stored on your Microsoft account account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey it will show you your key it has a identifier code you will need to match with what your computer shows you i hope you never need to use it but just a heads up for anyone who might need to know this since Microsoft and never bothered to tell anyone

yesterday i did get work but didn't post cause i kept working i helped someone get their printer working again i found Avast antivirus was causing the issue so it was left off

i also a Lenovo all in one was brought in it wasn't booting into windows properly anymore i found the system got very damaged and needed to be reinstalled i checked the hardware wasn't the problem first and it was ok and i backed up the data before i reinstalled too

helped 1 person today their motherboard had got very damaged i luckily had the exact same board in stock and was able to swap it and get their computer going again!

if you see a pop up on screen saying you have a virus call this number and you cannot click out of it do not call the number press crtl alt delete go to task manager and then right click on your browser you are using like edge or chrome and end task this should remove the pop up its very important you never call or give them any money they are not real techs they are just scammers thats all

i had a really busy day today i first fixed someone's laptop that had unwanted programs that said they needed to update their drivers and Microsoft 365 needed to be reinstalled word would not open at all

i had a call out at the abervale village and helped confirmed that the device connected to their imac was their own device and did a service on the imac while i was there

the last job was someone who had been hacked they accidently let someone into their computer after getting message on the screen to call someone i removed all the unwanted programs and any viruses and adware that should not have been on the computer too

today i replaced this motherboard on the hp laptop the old one had a short on it and the power button was not working properly too its back working the way it should now
