**Today’s achievement:**

Removed approximately 7,483 tiny gold circles from confetti.

(Actual number may be closer to 200. Emotionally, it was 7,483.)

It’s funny how adulthood isn’t really what I imagined.

I thought there’d be more grand moments.

Turns out it’s mostly:
• answering emails
• wondering why the printer is angry
• moving things from one pile to another
• and occasionally spending an unreasonable amount of time separating tiny gold circles from other tiny gold circles.

Life is weird.

One minute you’re dreaming big dreams.

The next you’re squinting at confetti and questioning your life choices.

But maybe that’s where life actually happens.

Not in the highlight reel.

In the wonderfully ridiculous little moments nobody warns you about. ✨

**The most important design tool in my business isn’t my laptop. It’s my body.**

As graphic designers, we spend hours hunched over screens, moving things by 2 pixels, and telling ourselves we’ll get up “in a minute.”

Then somehow it’s 3pm and we’ve barely moved.

These days, I’m much more intentional about looking after myself. Walks, stretching, hydration, and regular chiropractic care have become part of my routine.

Because when my body feels better, I think better.

I’m more creative, more focused, and significantly less annoyed by Adobe. 😉

A little reminder for my fellow creatives or just fellow humans : drop your shoulders, unclench your jaw, and go refill that water bottle.

Your body is carrying all those brilliant ideas around. Take care of it. ✨

Behind every woman building a business is a man asking, “Have you eaten?” while she’s redesigning something for the third time.

This business runs on creativity, coffee, determination... and a partner who patiently listens to me talk about fonts, branding, client projects, and ideas at all hours of the day.

He may not know why one shade of green matters more than another, but he knows when I need encouragement, when I need a break, and when I need someone to remind me that I’m capable of more than I think.

The truth is, while I lead this business, I don’t build it alone.
And for that, I’m endlessly grateful.

✨ Please don’t apologise for taking up space.
One of my favourite parts of being a graphic designer isn’t actually the designing.

It’s the conversations.
The voice note that starts with, “This might sound silly...”
The email that’s three pages longer than intended.
The business owner who says, “I don’t really know what I want, but I know how I want people to feel.”

That’s where the magic lives.
Behind every logo, website, and brand is a person with a story, a dream, a late-night idea, and usually a little bit of self-doubt.

So if you’ve ever worried about sharing too much, asking too many questions, or rambling your way through an idea...
Please don’t.

The best brands aren’t built from perfect briefs.
They’re built from honest conversations.

💛 Keep sharing. Your story matters. Your ideas matter. And sometimes the thing you almost didn’t say becomes the thing that changes everything

And that was the end of the discussion.
Kids have an incredible ability to trust their own voice.
Somewhere along the way, many of us learn to second-guess ourselves.

We wonder:
* Is this a good idea?
* What will people think?
* Should I do it differently?
* Am I getting it wrong?

Meanwhile, my daughter is confidently rebranding goose bumps and carrying on with her day.
A reminder that sometimes confidence isn’t knowing you’re right. It’s being okay saying the thing anyway.

You do need:
✅ Clarity.
✅ Consistency.
✅ A brand that sounds like an actual human being.
