🌼 What an Ending to Winter! 🌼
Well, we certainly didn’t expect to finish winter quite like this!
Last week we received a surprise phone call from Noel Blackman, asking if we would be the guest speaker at the Orara Valley Lions Club at The Golden Dog Hotel Glenreagh and share a little about what we do here at Shadows.
Of course, I said yes before I even got off the phone! 😂
It was a lovely opportunity to share our story, because some of you may not know that Shadows is a small family business that has been running for over 10 years.
We started in Port Macquarie, and today everything we do is produced right here in Glenreagh.
We are a wholesale photo printing business, printing for photographers, camera clubs, scrapbookers, art galleries and exhibitions across Australia. But we also print your everyday memories — from weddings, birthdays, new babies, family photos and children’s birthday invitations, through to some of life’s saddest moments, including photographs for funerals and memorials.
Sometimes what comes through our printers is so much more than just a photograph, and we never forget that.
That’s what we do here at Shadows — photo printing, canvas printing, scrapbook page printing and 3D printing, all done right here by us.
We don’t outsource our printing to third-party companies, and we don’t change or edit your photographs. We check your images before printing and give every order the same care and attention.
And now we’ve taken another exciting step — we’re printing for New Zealand too! 🇦🇺🇳🇿
The timing of Noel’s phone call couldn’t have been better, because we’ve also been very busy behind the scenes over the past couple of months.
We’re getting closer to opening our Community Art, History & Creative Gift Shop here in Glenreagh. There’s still a little more work to do, but it won’t be long until we can finally show you what we’ve been creating. ❤️
A big thank you to Noel and everyone at the Orara Valley Lions Club for having us and making us feel so welcome. We really enjoyed the night and loved having the chance to share a little more about Shadows and what we’ve been working on.
So, what an ending to winter — and what a way to welcome spring!
