One of the most valuable moments for me recently was being able to export seizure information from My Day My Way® and take it to a neurologist appointment.

Instead of trying to remember what had happened over weeks or months, the neurologist could see the information clearly in the export — including when seizures occurred, how long they lasted, what interventions were needed and what recovery looked like.

He was so pleased with the information available to him.

For families managing complex care, appointments can already feel overwhelming. Having the information recorded as things happen means we don’t have to rely on memory when we finally get in front of a specialist.

That’s exactly why I created My Day My Way® — to help turn everyday care information into something meaningful that can be shared with the people who need it.

💛 Record. Export. Share.

Most NDIS providers don't fail audits on purpose.

They fail because the right information wasn't recorded at the right time.

Timestamped care notes, incident logs, and shared documentation aren't just good practice. They're your proof that duty of care was met.

If you can't show it, it didn't happen. 📋

This is what your audit trail looks like. 👇

Care notes. Medication flags. Incident logs. All timestamped, all in one place.

The Family Visibility Dashboard pulls every record into a single view. One click exports it as a PDF or CSV, NDIS-ready.

No chasing paperwork. No gaps in the record.

How many times have you told your story?

Explaining your child’s needs. Repeating medical history. Going through the same background with a new support worker. A new provider. Another consultation. Another intake form.

The exhaustion of telling your story over and over isn’t just frustrating—it’s a real burden that families and care teams carry every single day.

And every time you retell it, something gets lost. A detail forgotten. A nuance missed. The bigger picture gets smaller.

What if the story didn’t have to be retold? What if everyone involved in someone’s care—family, support workers, providers—could see the same real-time information in one place? No repeating yourself. No starting from scratch with every new person who comes into the picture.

That’s what we built My Day My Way for. Because you shouldn’t have to keep explaining. You should just be able to show. 💙

Your time, your energy, your story—they matter. And they shouldn’t be wasted on repetition.

This is what a care note looks like in real time.

Timestamped. Tagged. Visible to family the moment it's logged.

No phone calls chasing updates. No gaps in the record.

One entry covers the clinical detail your auditor needs and the reassurance a family member is waiting for. 📋

That's not two separate tasks. That's My Day My Way.

Music, memories, and the moments that count.

It’s not just about routines. It’s about finding joy in the everyday, like a song played in your own space. The small things matter most.

Every care note tells part of this story. How do you capture your loved one’s best moments?

This is what audit-ready actually looks like.

Log a seizure event. Flag a missed medication. Export a timestamped PDF. All from one screen.

Most providers are still piecing this together across emails, spreadsheets, and handwritten notes. My Day My Way keeps it in one place, visible to everyone who needs it.

📣 NEW BLOG | The New SIL Practice Standards: What They Mean for Everyday Support

The new NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) Practice Standards came into effect on 1 July 2026 — but what do they actually mean for people receiving support, their families and the workers supporting them every day?

For me, good SIL support is about much more than meeting a standard.

It’s about choice, dignity, safety and consistency — and making sure the person remains at the centre of their own home and their own life.

In this new blog, I unpack the four key areas of the new standards:
🛡️ Safeguarding
💬 Supported decision-making
👥 Practice governance
🏠 Tenancy and service agreements

And importantly, I look at what these standards can mean in everyday practice, not just on paper.

If you're supporting someone with complex care needs, you already know how lonely it can feel.

The appointments. The paperwork. The nights you lie awake running through everything in your head. The people in your life who love you but don't quite get it.

That's why Complex Care Families Australia exists.

It's a private Facebook group for families, carers and support workers who are walking this road too. A place to ask the questions you're sick of googling, share what's actually working, and be understood without having to explain yourself first.

Each week we gather around:
Monday Motivation
Wednesday Wisdom
Resource Thursday
Friday Wins
Sunday Check-in

No judgement. No pressure to be positive. Just real people who get it.

If that sounds like something you need, come and join us 💛
