🪴 The Shea brand aims to create and job opportunities for women, youth smallholder farmers, and shea collectors.

To achieve this goal, we must link a digital market platform to sell the quality-standard and shea butter products our Shea cooperative women would produce from the heart of their rural communities.

🤝 This is why is in a partnership development process with AgUnity to provide global market linkage on their market platform. This will ensure that rural shea processors and collectors benefit directly from the standard pricing of their shea value-added products.

Great to touch base with one of our Direct Aid Program ( ) recipient, AgUnity, an Australian social enterprise working on empowering smallholder farmers and their cooperatives through digital solutions.

Through our DAP funding, AgUnity was able to increase transparency and data availability at farm level and ensure women farmers benefit from increased income and improved financial literacy.

The Australian Government supports efforts to address food security and creating sustainable economic opportunities for communities.
