Introducing the Parnassus Platypuses ā¤ļø

One of the best parts of this project was making sure the final mascot stayed true to the original student concept and all the little details that made it so special from the beginning. From the very first sketches, there were a few key elements we knew had to stay including the bracelet on the wrist just like Corby wears every day, and the pom poms in hand inspired by what she takes along to cheer on her school at carnivals.

Over the past few months, we refined the design while keeping the heart and personality of the original drawings front and centre, creating a mascot that feels fun, personal, and uniquely theirs.

Introducing the good olā€™ Kimo Kangaroos šŸ’Ŗ

Over the past few months, Iā€™ve had the chance to work with students from Gundagai High School to bring their new house mascot to life.

Starting with a school-wide design competition, we worked through brainstorming sessions, sketches, refinements, and plenty of creative back-and-forth to develop a mascot that stayed true to the original student concept while reflecting the schoolā€™s identity and values.

Itā€™s been awesome turning a student idea into something the whole school community can get behind and such a fun project to work on.

Thereā€™s truly nothing better than seeing creativity in action.Ā 

A quick snapshot of some mind mapping and sketching from a select group of Gundagai High School students who recently won the opportunity to design their schoolā€™s sporting house logo. The ideas, the enthusiasm, and their willingness to follow me down the rabbit hole of mind mapping made was a lot of fun!

As a past student of this school (a lifetime ago now šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«), and now a designer + business owner, being able to come back and work with local schools like this is something I genuinely value. Itā€™s such a rewarding process.. guiding students through real-world design thinking, helping them shape their ideas, and showing them what can grow from a few messy sketches and scribbled words.

Weā€™re only at the beginning of the brainstorming and development phase, but itā€™s already been such a fun and inspiring project. Iā€™m excited to see where we take it next!

Throwing it back to the full brand overhaul we completed for Tamworth Livestock Agents.

With a strong presence across Tamworth, Manilla, Walcha and Quirindi, and a network of nine dedicated agencies, it was important their brand reflected the scale, professionalism and legacy behind the name.

From a refined logo (see old logo at the end šŸ˜‰) and website redesign through to social media templates, print advertising, yard signage, flyers, and merch, every touch point was considered to create a cohesive, confident and recognisable brand system.

A fresh look for an event thatā€™s built on tradition.

Last year, as part of a larger project, we redesigned the website for a long-standing local Gundagai event to help competitors, spectators and supporters easily find what they need. From event information, and schedules through to results, sponsorships and key updates.

The new site brings everything together in one clear, easy-to-navigate space, while still reflecting the character, history and community that makes the event what it is.

Because when an event runs on precision, preparation and passion, its online presence should too.

If your existing website no longer reflects where your event or business is today, it might be time for a rethink.
