On Monday 27 July 2026, a test Critical Alert will be sent to all compatible mobile devices in Australia by AusAlert

This includes most phones, and some smart watches and tablets.

this will happen at 2pm, do not be alarmed, this is purely a test.

At the time of the test, a single Critical AusAlert test will be sent to every mobile device in Australia. Everyone with a compatible phone or other device in Australia can expect to receive the alert.

shattered received a laptop to donate back at Xmas time but, I was a bit busy to get it ready then.

I have now got it sorted out, its a HP 250 G5. with and i3, 8gb ram and a 240gb ssd or in English a pc that will do most tasks just fine

it isnt able to run windows 11 on it so an alternative operating system has been installed called zorin os, I would expect this to have less dramas than Windows and prone to less malware

this is to be given away tomorrow
