As we all know, Cyber Security has been a very hot topic over recent weeks.
It doesn't matter who you are - if your systems and data aren't satisfactorily secured, you run the risk of someone gaining access to them and using the data for sinister purposes.

If your business holds personal information about any individual (for example, a Health & Fitness facility) you absolutely need to ensure you're using the best possible security solutions available.

Antivirus alone is not enough - you must use a layered approach.

If you're a business owner and are worried or unhappy about the current state of your IT security, give us a call to discuss the options available.

Given the recent Government announcements regarding the COVID-19 lockdown in Sydney and surrounding areas, CSTech Management is continuing to closely monitor the situation regarding the evolving threat both locally and internationally.

Despite these uncertain times, CSTech’s operations are continuing and we wish to assure all of our clients that we are still contactable via the usual methods.

During this time, we kindly request that clients adhere to the following:

* only attend our office if it is absolutely necessary. If you do, you must wear a mask and sanitise on entry;
* if you need to drop off a PC for repair, the unit will be wiped down prior to our staff commencing work on it.

Clients are advised that product supply and the provision of onsite services may be impacted during this lockdown, especially in areas listed as ‘Red Zones’.

Further updates, where necessary, will be posted on the News & Updates section of our website. Alternatively, you can contact us at [email protected]

In a press conference held earlier this morning, the Australian Prime Minister warned of sustained cyber attacks targeting Australian Government agencies and businesses in recent times.

Interestingly enough, he was accompanied by the Defence Minister who also spoke during the press conference.
This speaks volumes about the seriousness of the situation.

IT security is not a 'set and forget' issue. It requires a multi-layer approach and needs to be maintained and monitored.

We at CSTech have always held this view.

Sadly, many business do not understand this until it's way too late.
If your business is not following the latest IT security trends or using the latest products, you need to take action.

Contact us today to discuss your situation and how we can help.
