What sometimes happens when you play with high voltage gear with internet tutorial confidence, 15 dead resistors and a few mixed values for balance between channels to sort out for good measure, but not knowing how it got so Frankensteined it’s probably good a simple bias check went so wrong.

The top transistor the root cause, with spot on B-C B-E but C-E doing a bit of both ways maybe even some oscillation, two devices with visible symptoms puts you in the right place, but the root cause was very well masked by low value resistance across junctions showing negligible change.
